Richard & Marie were married at St. John’s in Front Royal. I just adore Marie & her family, so this was a much anticipated celebration for me. Their reception was held at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, where Richard works as Head Pro. I love this venue not only because of the beautiful dining room and grounds, but everything seems to flow perfectly at each wedding I do there.
***UPDATE*** For those of you who have a prayer list, please add Marie & her family to yours. She is going through an extremely scary time right now, and even though her spirits are high as usual, she could always benefit from some extra love. You all know how awesome I think she is, so there’s no need to reiterate how much she deserves the very best in life. THANK YOU!!!

As gifts to their guests, they gave these fantastic bottles of Spanish wine. I’m a Chianti Classico drinker mostly, and haven’t had any Spanish Grenache to my knowledge, so when Marie asked us to take a bottle home at the end of the night, I was looking forward to trying a glass when I got the chance. Now that I have, I have to say that this will have to be a mainstay in my wine collection from now on. I’m not a great wine taster, so I’ll save you from my lack of knowledge on the subject, and just tell you to go try a bottle if you haven’t had it already 
Oh, and did I mention the food at the golf club? Yeah, it’s delish! Just thinking about it makes me really hungry…
I love these moments during the toast when one of them is thinking “uh-oh”, and the other is laughing hysterically!!!
Marie surprised Richard with a beautiful song in front of everyone!
