Rodney & Tiffany ~ Bowling Green Country Club

Rodney & Tiffany were married at First Baptist Church in Winchester, and had a beautiful reception at the new Bowling Green South location in Front Royal. Jon & I have both known them for years, so it was great to see some familiar faces in the crowd! Check out Tiffany’s beautiful dress!

Brady wouldn’t leave their side for the entire ceremony.  He looked so scared!





We had a super-quick formals session in the church, and headed straight to the reception.  They chose not to spend time on pictures of the two of them, even though the grounds at Bowling Green are beautiful (trust me, I practically begged!), but hopefully this spring they will be doing a Day After session that I’ve offered! (hint, hint, Tiffany!  You looked way too beautiful in that dress to not ever wear it again!)




Details were wonderful… definitely my style!

Someone was kind enough to come get Brady for a minute while they shared a romantic newlywed moment alone. 


I love this shot.  Jon always gets the best expressions from girls, lol!  Tiffany definitely had some beautiful bridesmaids!




Isn’t this hilarious?!?  Tiffany is the only person I know that could pull this off!

Welcome Baby Sophia!!!

Okay, so I know I’m jumping the gun a little, but I’ve been getting so many maternity & newborn requests lately that I felt the need to show some baby love! This post is dedicated to all you mama-wannabe’s like me :)
Ladiel & Nicole have been trying for 6 years to have a little miracle of their own, and last year they finally got the news they have long been waiting for! When I went to do the maternity session, I could tell that this new addition was already their whole world! I am so very happy for the both of them to have such a darling little girl to call their own. Congratulations!!!

Ladiel & Nicole looked online at newborn pictures before I came, and Ladiel fell in love with a picture of a newborn on a stack of towels.  I’ve seen this done by lots of photographers, and I’m so happy I finally got to do it myself!

This is my favorite one.  She looks like a baby doll up on her shelf, and I can imagine in a few years she’ll be putting her own baby dolls up there :)

Jessie & Matt ~ Khimaira Farm

We were so excited to do this wedding, since it took place at the same beautiful venue that we had chosen to seal our vows just two short weeks later!  Khimaira Farm is a beautiful organic goat farm in Luray, VA.  The owners go out of their way to make sure your wedding day is perfect!  We were also excited that we had such an incredible couple to photograph that day.  Matt & Jessie incorporated so many green ideas into their wedding, and definitely left a huge impression on us.  Not only that, but they are SO kind and giving of themselves.  They get that from their parents, who were such a big part of their ceremony.  I seriously could not stop crying… it was so touching & emotional… definitely THE hands-down best ceremony I’ve ever photographed.  Enjoy!

They made sure we had plenty of time after the ceremony to get lots of pictures of the two of them… I love it when I have so much time with my couples!

I couldn’t help this…  it’s just perfect :)

They took lessons and performed this awesome dance to a Beatles’ song

I love father/daughter dances :)

They had this crazy awesome pasta bar that was a supreme hit!

The kids were outside having fun.  Isn’t that backdrop just gorgeous?!?
